Here is a list of the key beliefs of HItler when he came out of prison in 1924

Use them to help your revision.

Nationalism

Hitler wanted to reverse the Treaty of Versailles, revive Germany, Make Germany self-sufficient and purify the German race.

Socialism

Like the communists he wanted to control big business but unlike them he was in favour of private ownership of land and smaller businesses. Socialism to him meant running the county so that agriculture and industry would flourish, businesses would only make fair profit, Jews could not control businesses and that workers would be treated fairly.

Totalitarianism

Hitler believed in the Fuhrerprinzip which argued for a strong leader for Germany because democracy was weak and he despised it.

Traditional German values

HE wanted traditional values with a strong emphasis on the family with men and women having distinctive roles. There would be a strong sense of the old-style German culture with traditional art music and theatre.

Struggle

Life was a contest to Hitler and he said that there would be constant struggle to make sure Germany had Living space known as Lebensraum and to make sure that there were only Germans in Germany.

Racial Purity

Hitler believed that the Aryans (the northern European peoples) were superior  and that they had produced all that was good about world culture. Other races such as the Slavs and those of Asia and Africa were inferior and the lowest of the low were the Jews, whom he called parasites.
